Ebates – eBay Discount % Is Changed

If you are a regular of Discount Duo, you are aware that we support Ebates as our number one eBay discount site. After comparing what is available, it has always proven to provide the largest eBay discount regardless of what type of eBay user you are.
Recently, eBates announced that they will only be offering a 2% eBay discount. We do feel that this is a big change, however, eBay recently changed their payout policy and it can only be assumed that this is a direct result of that change.
Please know that Discount Duo is still preferring eBates 2% eBay discount to its competitors.
Click Ebates to learn more about how it works and how to access your free $5 for joining.

This is the worst advice I have seen regarding ebay discount. What kind of competitive research have you done before saying that eBates is better than its competitors. Oh sorry, you didn’t say that. You said Discount Duo is still preferring it. Why? May be ebates is giving you some hefty commission. I’m sorry to find this site like the tons of scam sites which try to mislead people.
Thanks for posting.
I have done quite a bit of competitive research because I buy from eBay all the time. I am comparing ebates to Big Crumbs and Ebates is still the best deal for eBay shoppers. Big Crumbs only awards you based on the sellers fees and not on the total purchase. Ebates still wins hands down.
Are you aware of a better eBay cash back shopping program that I am not aware of? If so, please please do give it to me. This site is here as a resource for everyone to use to save money. Please provide examples and I’ll certainly explore them. In fact, I encourage you to! I would love to start saving more.
Yes of course. bing.com is still giving 8% off (upto $200 per transaction) on most (may be all) ebay buy-it-now purchases. And their discount % keeps changing from time to time (it was 14% just a few days ago, and I have seen it as high as 30%!!). The ebates offer sucks quite badly in front of the bing.com (i.e. Microsoft live) cash back. I agree bigcrumbs is the worst of them all (though I haven’t looked into it in detail).
Ok, I see what you are saying now. And here is the thing… I am Canadian and cannot use Bing. It is specific to US residents only. I will look further into it and hopefully provide some more info about it to my US readers, but I cannot use bing.com to save on my eBay purchases… hence why I have not used it, nor heard of it. Thank you kindly for making me aware of bing.com’s ebay cash back. I’ll work on rolling some info out in the near future.

Jenny
In that case my apologies for the harsh comments earlier. Though your fault is that you have not made it clear that you are talking about ebay.ca. Please do make it explicit in your post so other people don’t interpret it the way I did.
Thank you kindly! I do try to keep this website available to everyone from all countries and not just specific to ebay.ca. The codes I find have worked for US and Canadian members as well as other countries, but I suppose I never received any bing information because my IP is Canadian. I thank you so much for letting me know about bing so I can share it with my readers. Without people bringing these types of programs to my attention, I cannot provide a service that I am proud of.
Thank you!
